With massive burns and sores covering its body, The giant cuttlefish ran back to the sea, where it presumably died. The gasoline was lit, setting Gezora ablaze. Gezora damaged many buildings and killed several people, but the natives and some Japanese citizens lured him to a field covered in gasoline from an old munitions dump. Controlled by Yog, he was used to attack Sergio Island. Gezora, a giant mutated cuttlefish, was taken over by an alien from outer space known as Yog. Dogora appeared briefly in the prologue of Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters.Gezora's name comes from the Japanese word geso (ゲソ ?), meaning squid legs, and ra, a common suffix for kaiju names.This gave it the impression of it floating like an airborne squid. Dogora was detected again as he attacked Fukuoka. The bees flew into a cloud, and dozens of multiple-colored rocks fell out. Defense forces detected Dogora, but it was a swarm of bees. It attacked a coal plant, and it was discovered that it feeds on carbon. It melted the safe doors and ate the diamonds. A professor created a synthetic diamond, and Dogora was attracted to it. It came to Earth and began eating diamonds and other jewels. It destroyed a television satellite, causing it to mutate. Dogora first appeared in space, feeding on radiation. ![]()
